In Liberia, we are partnering with Mineke Foundation and Help A Mother and Newborn to run a maternal health training program for 100+ women, primarily lower-literacy market women. These women are the backbone of their communities, and our goal is to equip them with practical knowledge that can save lives.

The workshop will focus on essential maternal health topics, including the importance of blood typing and understanding Rh disease, presented in ways that are easy to grasp and engage with. Through hands-on activities, group discussions, and interactive demonstrations, participants will gain confidence in making health decisions for themselves and their families. By tailoring this training to the community’s literacy levels, we hope to empower women, strengthen families, and foster a culture of health awareness that extends throughout the markets and neighbourhoods they serve. The planning of the workshop in underway but we are anticipating it will be end of October, 2025.
