In March 2026, WIRhE had the distinct honour to attend the International Maternal and Newborn Health Conference (IMNHC) in Nairobi, Kenya.
In addition to attending the conference, we were selected to host an interactive stand during the ShareFair.
The ShareFair held during IMNHC2026 provided an important platform to showcase our work, strengthen partnerships, and engage stakeholders committed to improving maternal and newborn health outcomes. The event brought together practitioners, policymakers, implementers, and partners to exchange knowledge, highlight innovations, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Our participation focused on presenting our ongoing initiatives aimed at improving access to quality care for mothers and babies, while fostering dialogue around practical solutions and scalable approaches. The strong interest from attendees demonstrated growing alignment around shared priorities and reinforced the relevance of our work within the broader maternal and newborn health ecosystem.
Conference Highlights
A key highlight was the participation of the Mom and Baby Foundation (FOMAB), our implementing partner, whose contribution added valuable perspective from field implementation. Their reflections on partnership experiences underscored the importance of collaborative delivery models, community engagement, and coordinated action in achieving sustainable impact. Their presence strengthened the discussion by linking strategy with real-world implementation experience.
Overall, the ShareFair created meaningful opportunities to deepen relationships, increase visibility of our joint efforts, and identify potential areas for future collaboration. The engagement reaffirmed the value of partnerships in advancing maternal and newborn health goals and highlighted continued momentum toward improving care for mothers and babies.
