Eldon’s support will enable WIRhE to strengthen its core organisational capacity during a critical phase of growth. This funding directly supports the work of the Executive Director, ensuring continuity across partnerships, regional initiatives, communications, and advocacy efforts as WIRhE expands its global footprint.
With Eldon’s contribution, WIRhE will be able to:
- Deepen coordination across regional partners and subcommittees
- Engage new regions beyond Africa, including South Asia and Latin America
- Strengthen coalition-building and shared advocacy messaging
- Develop policy-oriented tools and concept notes to support Ministries of Health and regional stakeholders
- Ground global advocacy in field-informed insights and local realities, including collaboration with grassroots partners and coalitions addressing blood access inequities
This support will be essential in allowing WIRhE to operate not only as an advocacy voice, but as a connector between community realities, health systems, and policy-level change. By investing in coordination, strategy, and partnership-building, Eldon is helping ensure that efforts to prevent Rh disease are aligned, sustainable, and responsive to the contexts where the burden is highest.
