WIRhE gratefully acknowledges the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) for awarding their financial support of our upcoming event focused on Rh disease and maternal health (Event ID: 2025J-06).
This support enables important dialogue among clinicians, researchers, advocates, and partners working to address Rh disease globally. The programme will include focused discussion on Rh immunoglobulin (RhIg) availability in low- and middle-income countries, including barriers to access, partnership opportunities, and potential solutions.
Beyond financial support, ISBT’s engagement reflects a shared commitment to advancing equitable blood safety and maternal care worldwide. We also appreciate the opportunity to share outcomes from the event with the wider transfusion community through Transfusion Today, helping raise visibility of this often-overlooked issue.
